Starter: ”Savoury Words”
Tasty mini pizza with salami. A simple and good recipe for young and old. Of course you can also gratin the pizzas with other ingredients. That will make people talk.
- Packet of pizza dough
- 150 ml tomato sauce
- 1 mozzarella ball
- Salami (100 grams)
- Grated cheese
- Pepper and salt
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Place the pieces of pizza dough on a grid with baking paper. Season the tomato sauce with some salt and pepper and add 1 teaspoon of oregano. Divide the tomato sauce over the bits of pizza. Cut the salami into pieces and divide this over the pieces of pizza.
Break the mozzarella into pieces and divide this together with some grated cheese (about 50 grams) over the pizzas. Bake the pizzas golden brown in about 5 to 8 minutes. Garnish the pizzas with some arugula.
Main course: ”Serve Yourself”
A delicious dish for all ages. Pilaf with peaches is a delicious combination of sweet and sour for 4 people.
- Chicken fillet (500 grams)
- 1 can of peaches
- 1 can of peeled tomatoes
- 1 large can of tomato puree
- 1 cube of chicken broth
- Soy Sauce (Manis)
- Sambal (Badjak)
- a little bit of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Maize flour
- 1 box of mushrooms,
- 1 red pepper
Start by cooking 400 grams of rice for around 8 minutes.
Fry the chicken fillet briefly for three minutes. Meanwhile chop the onion and mushrooms. Add this to the chicken fillet together with the garlic, red pepper cubes, 5 tablespoons of soy sauce and 3 teaspoons of sambal. Bake this mixture briefly.
Put the peeled tomatoes in a bowl together with the tomato puree and liquefy it with the hand blender. Add the sauce to the chicken fillet with vegetables and stir well.
Cut the peaches into pieces and add them, together with the juice. Now add 1 cube of chicken broth and some Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer slowly. Thicken the sauce with maize flour and season it to taste with some ground pepper.
Drain the rice and let it cool briefly. Put the rice in a small bowl and place it upside down on the plate, so that you get half a ball on the plate. Put the Pilaf on top of it.
Dessert: ”Forbidden Fruit”
With this dessert you don’t have to peel apples (“forbidden fruit”). No, you fill them with apricots. This recipe is for 4 people. You can adjust the ingredients in proportion to the number of players for your murder dinner.
- 4 apples
- Bag of dried apricots
- Cup of whipped cream
- Cane sugar
- 4 small cubes of butter
- Ginger powder
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees. Mix 25 grams of cane sugar, 2 tablespoons of ginger powder and 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon with 80 ml of water in a baking dish. Add the sliced apricots.
Remove the core from the apple with an apple drill and fill the cavities of the apples with the apricot mixture. Put 1 cube of butter of about 1 by 1 cm on top of the apple. Place the apples in the baking dish and put it in the oven for about 30 – 40 minutes.
Beat the whipped cream to yogurt thickness. Add some cinnamon to taste to the whipped cream.
Serve the filled apple with whipped cream to your guests.
